Rita Carter

Rita Carter is a British science writer, lecturer, and broadcaster specializing in the human brain, born in Essex, England, in 1949. She trained as a journalist in London, anchoring Thames News for five years, and since 1995 has contributed to publications like The Independent, New Scientist, Daily Mail, and The Telegraph. Twice awarded the Medical Journalists’ Association prize, she has authored acclaimed books on consciousness, memory, personality, and brain science.
