Risto Naatanen

Risto Kalervo Näätänen (1939–2023) was a Finnish psychological scientist and pioneer in cognitive neuroscience, widely known for his work on the electrophysiological mismatch negativity (MMN). He was a professor and a highly cited researcher whose studies helped advance the understanding of auditory perception and attention.
