RINEHART AND WINSTON HOLT
Holt, Rinehart and Winston is not an individual author but an American publishing company established in March 1960 through the merger of Henry Holt and Company, Rinehart & Company, and John C. Winston Co., with a history in educational and non-fiction publishing dating back to the Reconstruction South. The company, based in New York, became known for textbooks and has published numerous works, often credited under 'Holt, Rinehart and Winston Staff' or 'Inc.' as a collective for its editors and writers.[1][2][3]
