Rick Ridgeway
Rick Ridgeway is an American mountaineer, adventurer, environmentalist, author, and filmmaker born in 1949. He was part of the first American team to summit K2 in 1978 and served as VP of Environmental Affairs and Public Engagement at Patagonia from 2005 to 2020, where he led major sustainability initiatives. He has authored seven books, including his memoir 'Life Lived Wild: Adventures at the Edge of the Map,' and produced numerous documentary films while dedicating his life to conservation and exploration across six continents.
