Rick Baker

Rick Baker is an American retired special makeup effects creator and actor, born December 8, 1950. He is a record-holding winner of seven Academy Awards for Makeup out of eleven nominations, beginning with his win in 1981 for An American Werewolf in London. Known for his innovative creature designs and prosthetic effects across horror, comedy, and science fiction films, Baker apprenticed under legendary makeup artist Dick Smith and has worked on iconic films including The Exorcist, Men in Black, and The Wolfman.
