Richelieu & Ontario Navigation Co. was a Canadian shipping company founded in 1845 as La Compagnie du Richelieu by Jacques Sincennes to transport goods and passengers along the Richelieu and St. Lawrence rivers. It later evolved through mergers and expansion into a foundational company for what became Canada Steamship Lines, playing a significant role in river and Great Lakes shipping history.
