Richard Worth
Richard Hansford Worth (1868–1950) was a British civil engineer, geologist, archaeologist, and writer from Plymouth, Devon, renowned for his extensive work on Dartmoor. Son of geologist and historian Richard Nicholls Worth, he authored numerous papers for the Devonshire Association, which formed the basis of the posthumously published Worth’s Dartmoor, and produced annual Climate and Barrow Reports until his death.
