Richard Wheeler

Richard Shaw Wheeler (1935–2019) was an American author and former newspaper editor best known for his novels set in the American West, including the Barnaby Skye series.[1][2] He authored over 80 books, won six Spur Awards from the Western Writers of America, received the 2001 Owen Wister Award for lifetime contributions to Western literature, and was inducted into the WWA Hall of Fame in 2015.[1][5]
