Richard Turton

Richard Turton is a chemical engineering professor emeritus at West Virginia University, specializing in process design and education with 36 years of experience in industry and academia.[2][3] He earned his BSc from the University of Nottingham in 1977, MS and PhD from Oregon State University in 1979 and 1986, respectively, and has authored textbooks including 'Analysis, Synthesis, and Design of Chemical Processes' (5th edition) and over 80 peer-reviewed papers.[3][4] Born in London, England, in 1955, he joined WVU faculty in 1986 and holds the Bolton Professor position.[3][4]
