Richard Preston
Richard Preston (born August 5, 1954) is an American writer and journalist best known for bestselling nonfiction books on infectious disease, bioterrorism, and nature, including *The Hot Zone* and *The Wild Trees*. He is also a long-time contributor to *The New Yorker* and has written fiction as well.[1][2][6][10]
