Richard Pipes

Richard Pipes was a Polish-born American historian who specialized in Russian and Soviet history and taught at Harvard University for most of his academic career. He also served in U.S. national security roles, including as head of the CIA’s Team B and as an adviser on Soviet affairs to President Ronald Reagan.
