Richard Murphy

Richard Kerr Murphy (1927–2018) was an Anglo-Irish poet born in County Mayo, Ireland. He studied at Oxford and the Sorbonne, later living and writing in places including Inishbofin and Sri Lanka; his work often explores Irish history, seascapes, and cultural identity.
