Richard Morgan

Richard Kingsley Morgan is a British science fiction and fantasy author born in 1965 in Norwich. He is best known for the Takeshi Kovacs series, beginning with Altered Carbon (2002), which won the Philip K. Dick Award and was adapted into a Netflix series in 2018. Morgan has won multiple prestigious awards including the John W. Campbell Award for Market Forces and the Arthur C. Clarke Award for Thirteen.
