Richard Lewis
Richard Donald Lewis (born 1930) is an English communication consultant, writer, and social theorist best known for developing the Lewis Model of Cross-Cultural Communication, which classifies cultures into Linear-Active, Multi-Active, and Re-Active categories.[1] Born in Billinge, Lancashire, he comes from a family of coal miners originally from North Wales and has authored works on intercultural communication.[1]
