Richard Ian Kimball
Richard Ian Kimball is a professor of history at Brigham Young University, specializing in sports history, particularly its relation to Latter-day Saints and Mormon recreation.[1][2] He earned his bachelor's degree in American Studies from BYU and both his master's and Ph.D. in history from Purdue University in 1999, joining BYU faculty in 1998.[1][2] His notable books include *Sports in Zion: Mormon Recreation 1890-1940* (2003) and *Legends Never Die: Athletes and Their Afterlives in Modern America*.[1][3]
