Richard Harvey

Richard Harvey (1560–1630) was an English astrologer, theologian, and controversialist, baptized on 15 April 1560 at Saffron Walden, where his father John Harvey was a ropemaker.[1][5] He entered Pembroke Hall, Cambridge, in 1575, earning his B.A. in 1577–8 and M.A. in 1581, and became a fellow of the college, publishing works on astrology, phlebotomy, and theology including a discourse on the Lamb of God amid the Marprelate controversy.[6][7]
