Richard E. Leakey

Richard E. Leakey was a Kenyan paleoanthropologist, conservationist, and politician known for major fossil discoveries that helped illuminate human evolution in Africa. He also led major wildlife conservation efforts in Kenya, including service with the National Museums of Kenya and the Kenya Wildlife Service.
