Richard D Easton
Richard D. Easton is the author of 'GPS Declassified: From Smart Bombs to Smartphones,' which examines the development of GPS from its secret Cold War military origins to a global consumer technology. He is the son of GPS pioneer Roger L. Easton, who led the Naval Research Laboratory's Space Applications Branch, and has published articles on GPS history in space-related publications. Easton holds an MLA from the University of Chicago.
