Richard Carstensen

Richard Carstensen is a naturalist from Juneau, Alaska, and one of the founders of Discovery Southeast, a nonprofit that has brought natural history education to public schools in the Alaska capital since the late 1980s. He is the co-author of several books on the natural history and ecology of Southeast Alaska, including *The Nature of Southeast Alaska* and *Book of the Tongass*.[1]
