Richard Caplan

Richard Caplan is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Linacre College, where he teaches graduate courses on international relations and conflict management. His research focuses on international organizations, peacekeeping, post-conflict peace- and state-building, and he leads projects like the ESRC-funded 'After Exit' study on UN peacekeeping withdrawal. He has authored and edited books including 'International Governance of War-Torn Territories: Rule and Reconstruction' and 'Exit Strategies and State Building'.
