Richard C. Morais

Richard C. Morais is a Canadian-American award-winning financial journalist and novelist, best known for his New York Times and international bestseller The Hundred-Foot Journey, a culinary novel about an Indian chef conquering French haute cuisine, which was adapted into a film by DreamWorks starring Helen Mirren.[1][2][3] He is also the author of Buddhaland Brooklyn, about a Japanese Buddhist priest in Brooklyn, and the biography Pierre Cardin: The Man Who Became a Label, while founding the Milford Writing Institute.[1][3] Morais served as Forbes' European Bureau Chief in London for 17 years and now lives in Philadelphia.[3][5]
