Richard Bailey
Richard Bailey (born October 29, 1947) is an American historian specializing in Alabama's Reconstruction era and African American history. He has written several books including *Neither Carpetbaggers Nor Scalawags*, which was selected as a supplemental school text by the Alabama Board of Education, and has organized historical markers and led black history tours.
