Richard Arum

Richard Arum is a distinguished American sociologist and professor of education at the University of California, Irvine, where he serves as Dean of the School of Education. He is renowned for his research on student learning, school discipline, race, and inequality in K-12 and higher education, holding a Ph.D. in sociology from UC Berkeley and an M.Ed. from Harvard.
