Rhys Bowen
Rhys Bowen, born Janet Quin-Harkin on September 24, 1941, in Bath, England, is a New York Times bestselling author of historical mystery novels, including the Royal Spyness series about a 1930s British aristocrat, the Molly Murphy series about an Irish immigrant detective in early 1900s New York, and the Constable Evan Evans series.[1][2][4] Educated at London University and with early career experience at the BBC, she has won multiple Agatha, Anthony, and Macavity Awards, with her books translated into over 30 languages and selling nearly 10 million copies.[1][3][6] A transplanted Brit, she now divides her time between California and Arizona.[1][3]
