Reuben Fine

Reuben Fine was an American chess grandmaster, psychologist, and author born in New York City in 1914 and died in New York City in 1993. He was among the world's leading chess players in the 1930s and 1940s, and later shifted his career to psychology and psychoanalysis while writing influential books on chess and psychology.
