Rémi Abgrall
Rémi Abgrall (born 1961) is a French applied mathematician renowned for his contributions to computational fluid dynamics, numerical analysis of conservation laws, multiphase flows, and Hamilton–Jacobi equations. He earned his degree from École normale supérieure de Saint-Cloud in 1985 and his PhD from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1987, and has held positions at ONERA, INRIA, University of Bordeaux, and since 2014, as a professor of numerical analysis at the University of Zurich, where he became Director of the Department of Mathematics in 2021.[1][2][3][5]
