Rebecca Yarros (born April 13, 1981) is an American author best known for her Empyrean fantasy-romance series, including the blockbuster Fourth Wing, which has sold millions of copies and is being adapted into a television series.[1][2] A graduate of Troy University with degrees in European history and English, she is a military wife, mother of six, and co-founder of the nonprofit OneOctober to support foster children.[1][3][6] Yarros has written over twenty novels, blending military themes, romance, and fantasy, and has received awards like the British Book Award nomination and the Alex Award.[3][4]
