Rebecca Stefoff
Rebecca Stefoff published her first books in college and has since authored over 200 nonfiction books for young readers, focusing on science, history, and diverse topics like ghosts, robots, evolution, and forensic science.[1][3] She grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, earned a B.A. in English from Indiana University and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she taught early classes in fantasy and science fiction, before becoming a full-time freelance writer.[3] She resides in Portland, Oregon, and also writes fiction including romance novels, horror stories, and YA/MG novels with fantasy, horror, or sci-fi elements.[1][3]
