Reader's Digest is an American general-interest magazine founded in 1922 by DeWitt Wallace and Lila Bell Wallace. It became known for its condensed articles, wide-ranging practical content, and family-oriented readership, and for many years it was one of the best-selling consumer magazines in the United States.
