Raymond R. Hatton
Raymond William Hatton (July 7, 1887 – October 21, 1971) was an American film actor who appeared in nearly 500 motion pictures, with a career spanning from 1909 to 1967. He was particularly active during the silent film era and became known for roles in comedies paired with Wallace Beery and as a grumpy explorer in western serials. Hatton died of a heart attack five days after his wife Frances, at age 84, and was buried at Joshua Memorial Park in Palmdale, California.
