Ranjit Sen

Ranjit Sen was a former Professor in the Department of Islamic History and Culture at the University of Calcutta, specializing in the history of colonial Calcutta.[1][2] He authored books such as 'Birth of a Colonial City: Calcutta' and 'Calcutta in Colonial Transition,' focusing on the city's development from 1757 to 1912.[4][5]
