Randy Wayne White
Randy Wayne White is an American New York Times bestselling author best known for his Doc Ford series of crime novels featuring a retired NSA agent and marine biologist living on Florida's Gulf Coast.[1][4] A former light-tackle fishing guide on Sanibel Island for over 13 years, he draws heavily from those experiences in his writing and has also contributed to magazines like Outside and National Geographic Adventure.[2][4] He lives on Sanibel Island, where he owns Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grill, and was named a Florida Literary Legend in 2011.[1][4]
