Randy Shilts

Randy Shilts was an American journalist and author known for his groundbreaking work on the AIDS epidemic. His most famous book, 'And the Band Played On: Politics, People, and the AIDS Epidemic,' is a comprehensive and critical account of the early years of the crisis. Shilts was also one of the first openly gay journalists to cover the epidemic extensively.
