Randall W Jibson

Dr. Randall W. Jibson is a Research Geologist at the United States Geological Survey (USGS) with over 35 years of experience studying landslide processes and ground failures. He has authored more than 100 publications on ground failure and geotechnical engineering, and has conducted numerous post-earthquake investigations both domestically and internationally. His research interests encompass both natural and human-induced ground failures, including liquefaction hazard mapping.
