Ran Libeskind-Hadas

Ran Libeskind-Hadas is a computer scientist specializing in algorithms for computational biology, particularly cophylogenetics. He earned a degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University in 1987 and an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993, then joined Harvey Mudd College faculty in 1993, serving as department chair and R. Michael Shanahan Professor before becoming founding chair of the Department of Integrated Sciences at Claremont McKenna College in 2021.[1][2][4][5]
