Ralph Kimball

Ralph Kimball (born July 18, 1944) is an author and one of the original architects of data warehousing and business intelligence. He developed the bottom-up Kimball methodology, also known as dimensional modeling, which has become a de facto standard in decision support systems. He is the principal author of several best-selling books on data warehousing published by Wiley and Sons.
