Raina Telgemeier

Raina Telgemeier is an American cartoonist and author-illustrator of bestselling graphic novels for young readers, including the autobiographical works Smile, Sisters, and Guts, as well as Drama and Ghosts.[1][2][4] Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she graduated with an illustration degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2002 and has won multiple Eisner Awards.[1][2] She has also adapted Ann M. Martin's Baby-Sitters Club series into graphic novels.[1][3]
