Rahim Tafazolli

Rahim Tafazolli is the Regius Professor of Electronic Engineering and Professor of Mobile and Satellite Communications at the University of Surrey, where he founded and directs the 5GIC, 6GIC, and Institute for Communication Systems (ICS). With over 30 years of experience in digital communications research and teaching, he has authored more than 1000 publications and is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), FIET, FIEEE, and recipient of the CBE. He is renowned for his contributions to 5G and 6G technologies, including long-standing collaborations with industry leaders like Huawei.
