Rachel Gillig is an American gothic romantic fantasy author known for her duologies The Shepherd King and Stonewater Kingdom, including the #1 New York Times bestselling series. Born and raised on the California coast, she holds a B.A. in Literary Theory and Criticism from the University of California, Davis, and worked as a preschool teacher and artist before focusing on writing.[1][2]
