Rachel Clarke

Dr. Rachel Clarke is a palliative care doctor in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) and author of Sunday Times bestselling books including Breathtaking, Your Life in My Hands, Dear Life, and The Story of a Heart. Before entering medicine in 2003, she worked as a broadcast journalist and documentary maker, reporting on conflicts like the Gulf War and Second Congo War. She writes for publications such as The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Sunday Times, and lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and two children.
