Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson
Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson (born 1959) is an American rabbi, author, and scholar who holds the Abner and Roslyn Goldstine Dean's Chair of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies and serves as Vice-President at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. He is also the Founding Dean of the Zacharias Frankel College at the University of Potsdam, Germany, ordaining Conservative/Masorti rabbis for Europe, and has authored over 12 books on Jewish theology, process theology, ethics, and social justice. Previously, he served as rabbi of Congregation Eilat in Mission Viejo, growing it from 200 to over 600 families, and earned degrees from Harvard University, Jewish Theological Seminary, and Hebrew Union College.
