R. P. Beasley

R. Palmer Beasley (1936–2012) was an American physician, epidemiologist, and public health educator known for pioneering research on hepatitis B and its link to liver cancer. His work, especially studies conducted in Taiwan, helped shape hepatitis B prevention and vaccination efforts worldwide.
