R L Stine

R.L. Stine (Robert Lawrence Stine) is an American novelist best known for creating the Goosebumps series, which has sold over 400 million copies globally and become the second-best-selling book series in history. He began his writing career in humor and joke books before transitioning to horror fiction with his 1986 novel Blind Date, followed by the Fear Street series in 1989. Stine has been referred to as the "Stephen King of children's literature" and has created numerous horror and comedy book series for children and young adults.
