R. Edward Freeman

R. Edward Freeman is an American philosopher and professor of business administration at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, where he is known for his work on business ethics and stakeholder theory. He is especially associated with his 1984 book *Strategic Management: A Stakeholder Approach*, which helped establish stakeholder theory in management scholarship.
