R. D. Zimmerman

Robert Dingwall (R.D.) Zimmerman, born August 23, 1952, is an American author known for mysteries, psychological thrillers, children's books, mystery games, and historical fiction, including the New York Times bestseller 'The Kitchen Boy' under the pen name Robert Alexander. Raised near Chicago as the great-grandson of philanthropist Charles H. Wacker, he studied at Leningrad State University, traveled and worked extensively in Russia, and has won awards like Lambda Literary Awards. He resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
