R a Torrey

Reuben Archer Torrey (1856–1928), known as R.A. Torrey, was an American evangelist, Congregational pastor, educator, and prolific author who wrote over 40 books on Christian theology and evangelism. He served as the first superintendent of Moody Bible Institute, pastor of Moody Memorial Church, and dean of Biola University, and was a key figure in the Keswick and Fundamentalist movements.
