Quintus of Smyrna
Quintus of Smyrna was a Greek epic poet, probably active in the later Roman Empire, best known for the *Posthomerica*, a 14-book poem that continues the story of the Trojan War after Homer’s *Iliad*. His work imitates Homeric style and covers events such as the deaths of Achilles and Memnon, the contest for Achilles’ armor, and the building of the Wooden Horse.
