Quetzil E. Castaneda

Quetzil E. Castaneda is an American cultural anthropologist known for his ethnographic research on Maya communities, tourism, and the politics of cultural heritage in Mexico and Central America. He is the author of 'In the Museum of Maya Culture' and has published extensively on the anthropology of tourism, indigenous identity, and the production of knowledge.
