Qi Liu

Qi Liu is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, working across photography, installation, and art direction, using her work to engage directly with everyday social realities and provoke thoughtful reflection in viewers. Born in 1988 in Beijing, China, she earned a Bachelor of Animal Science from Beijing Agricultural College (2007-2011) and studied Photography and Media/Scenic Design at the California Institute of the Arts (2020-2025). She has received the Bartman Scholarship in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and recognition in the Teravarna Art 13th Open in 2025.[2]
