Micheline La France is a Quebec writer born in Montreal who initially trained as an actress at the National Theatre School of Montreal before pursuing a career in theatre until 1973. She then transitioned to literature, becoming a member of the Union of Quebec Writers and publishing poetry, novels, short stories, and works for radio, television, and film. She is known for works including 'Soleil des hommes' (1980) and 'Le Don d'Auguste' (2001), for which she received the Philippe Roussillon Prize.
